As I’ve stated before, 97% of all new businesses fail, however, those that implement a Marketing System, have a 95% success rate. When your business is going good, your personal life tends to go well. Statistics have shown that most marriages that end in divorce are due to financial problems. So, as you can see, business failure doesn’t only affect your bank accounts, it effects your personal life as well. Depression, alcoholism, low self esteem, anger problems, and the list goes on.

I believe the only true way to take care of your financial future is to own and run your own business. The personal rewards are  great bonuses when you run your business successfully. Now you may ask, “How do I run a successful marketing business?” The answer is clear and in next paragraph.

The maketing system I use is not really complicated. It’s simple and can be copied by anyone. As a matter of fact, that’s how I started. I copied what another successful business owner did. And he did the same thing. It has been done time after time. There is a lot involved when starting a business. For instance, the reason for starting the business should be first. If you are an employee, your reason may be that you want to be your own boss, you may be tired of the long hours and want to work from home. The list could go on and on.

Of course you want to build wealth with your business. Or at least I hope you do. A good definition of wealth is the amount of days forward you can live without having to work. Being wealthy and rich are two different concepts. For instance, rich people may need to make a lot of money to keep up with the expensive items and services they buy. Thus, they may not be able to walk away from their business for long periods of time if they don’t have true wealth.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the #1 best selling book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, says the best way to turn a small business into a big business it to start a network marketing business.  In fact, Donald Trump and Kiyosaki co-authored a book, Why We Want You To Be Rich. They both agree that the best way to build Wealth is through network marketing.

It only makes sense to run your small or medium size business with the same principles as a big business. This will allow you true financial and time freedom.

Deciding To Start A Business

Many people that start a business think all they need to do is start it with something they love. They are leaving out half of the equation. The idea must also make great business sense. Just because you like your idea or product doesn’t mean everyone else will.  If the idea does not make sense in the fact there is no demand for your product or services, it is doomed to fail.

You must be willing to keep an open mind and be willing to change with society. An easy example is with music recordings. Back in the 70′s there was the eight track tapes, the 80′s saw the cassette tapes that led into CD’s and now we have iPods and MP3 players.  Now if I were in this business and refused to change with society, I don’t think my business would make much money off of eight track tapes or cassette tapes.

Society has changed so much over the last 100 years. Back during the industrial age, people went to work for big companies. The folks that worked to the top of the companies made the most money. Industrial age strategies are not working because these big businesses are letting employees go. A recent report indicated that 175,000 big business jobs were lost due to lay offs. The media did not report that small businesses produced 200,000 jobs. We are currently in the information age and gradually transforming into the entrepreneurial age.
